Article » Automatically removing old visitor records
The CounterCode database should be regularly purged of outdated records to ensure good performance. This is normally done through the "Purge Logs" option in the Administration Screen
Purging old records will not affect the overall counts for the counters, but will affect how
far back users can go when browsing statistics.
To automate this process, please see the File Database for the purgeStats.php script. It is recommended that this script is run daily from cron.
